Fiddle Me Ree was formed to dispel the myth that all traditional folk music is just 'finger in the ear, diddley diddley' stuff, which is often mistakenly branded as Irish in origin and sadly, often over played by well meaning musicians underpinned by their belief that it's what people want.

Here's an alternative vision bringing you our fusion of instrumental music from the Celtic and European heritage.

Most of what you hear will be traditional music laced with improvisation and innovation, from a group of musicians unafraid to call on modern day world influences to enhance their sound, calling on many influences from modern day music and always exciting to listen to.
